Location
Spring Hill is a quiet residential location outside the main tourist areas but within easy access of the main tourist attractions such as Busch Gardens, Disney World, Clearwater etc. The international airport at Tampa is just 45 minutes away via the Suncoast Parkway, while the drive to Orlando takes 90 minutes.
Description
Everything you could want in a 'home from home' - the villa is our vacation home, not part of a rental business and as a result you will find everything you need including all towels, linen, beach towels and hair dryers. There is a TV in the master bedroom, ceiling fans in all rooms as well as the lanai and the fridge-freezer dispenses ice cubes and chilled water. The large (28' x 14') pool is heated with a heat pump (included in the price) and fitted with a (removable) child safety barrier. The sizable pool enclosure (50' x 22') and spacious lanai complete with large state-of-the-art barbecue are ideal for outdoor living. There is a large 40" LCD flat screen TV in the living room and internet access is available (wireless broadband).
The master bedroom has an American King-size bed, walk-in closet, dressing table, cable TV and direct access to the pool area. There is an en-suite bathroom which has a large shower, twin wash basins, wc and bidet.The second bedroom has an American Queen-size bed and built-in closet, whilst the third bedroom has twin beds, built-in closet and cable TV. These two rooms share the second bathroom which has a bath with shower over, wash basin & wc.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a large fridge/freezer with chilled water & ice dispensers, twin sinks, granite counter tops, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of crockery and glassware. There is a separate utility room with a washer, dryer and large sink. The third bathroom is accessed from the lanai and has a shower, wash basin and wc.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds Sterling.
Pool heating is included in these rates. A returnable booking/security deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking with full payment to be received eight weeks before the rental start-date. The deposit will be refunded within six weeks of the return of the key at the end of your holiday.
Local Amenities
We are next to the Oak Hills golf club - an 18 hole, 6935 yard course. While no water comes into play, there are plenty of sand traps to present a challenge. There are another fourteen courses within easy driving distance.
The whole area is wonderful for wildlife - sit on the lanai and watch the birds feeding or adventure further afield and see manatees in the wild, alligators and much more. A wide variety of restaurants, shops and supermarkets can be found within a five or ten minute drive.
Pine Island beach is a 15 minute drive away and is ideal for children This beach is within a well-maintained country park and hence is not built up. The beaches at Clearwater are a 40 minute drive away. Closer to home is Buccaneer Bay (Weeki Wachee Springs) on the Weeki Wachee River (about 1 mile away), a waterpark designed for the entire family, which has a whole range of attractions, including an underwater theatre with performing "mermaids" (found nowhere else in the world!).

We have rented many homes in Florida over the years,but
this one is by far the best.Its more than perfect,When we
first opened the door all we could say was WOW, its big,bright and above clean, with skylights and little touches through out the whole house.I have never stayed in a home so well organized and with so much information at your finger tips.They have really covered everything,it was so nice. The pool area is outstanding,It has a kid fence to keep the little ones safe and a wonderful carpeted area with patio furniture, plus a bathroom to change in with out having to track in the house.Words fail me as to how great this house is except to recommend it to any one and everyone, Its private, Clean, Quiet, etc.etc...Yet close to stores and other attractions. The owners are a delight to deal with, they called on our arrival to make sure everything was fine.Try it you will Love it.

We have stayed in other houses in Florida but this beats them all. The house's location and atmosphere make it such an enjoyable visit.
The information from the owners, both that sent in advance and that in the house when you get there, means you quickly feel at home and are never lost for somewhere to eat, something to do or somewhere to visit.
The house itself is beautiful, clean and spacious with all the amenitites you could ask for. But importantly it feels like a home and you don't feel you are intruding on someone else's space or staying in someone's home.
The pool is a great size and the lanai means you feel out in the open but private.
The location is quiet but within minutes of shops, restaurants, tourist attractions etc
I have stayed both for a family holiday and a romantic get-away and it has worked for both and I can't wait to visit again.

We have been renting villas in Florida for nearly 20 years. How often in rental properties do you find the air conditioning controls and pool heating controls locked away in boxes with the aircon set at 80 degrees and the pool temperature barely comfortable? Ok in some locations there are justifiable reasons for this but it is nice to be treated like responsible renters here, this is by far the most comfortable and well equiped villa we have found within a reasonable rental cost and within 75 miles of Orlando. The owners take care and pride in the upkeep of the property and it shows. The other reviews cover all the remaining salient points, if you are looking for an area with good shoping, safe local beaches, beautiful scenery and good road links then this area and this villa are as good as it gets. Enjoy!
